These Sounds are leveled at -6db , so they are very loud. Use them with the right attenuation settings so that you only need to care about the loudness by distance. This is intentional, because it simulates the loudest level you could hear if you hold your ear next to the sound source. If you want to make the rain more faint and gentle for example, you have to level it down. Also, these sounds are made to be as dry as possible. Add reverb to your sound mix if needed (like in a cave or a forest)
