
Unreal Dance Editor (Beta) – Unreal Engine
Unreal Dance Editor (UDE) is an all-in-one AI-powered music-to-dance suite by MVNT.
UDE supports two generation modes:
– M3 (Motion Library): Analyzes music and assembles motions from MVNT’s pre-built Charisma/Wild library
– M4 (AI Generation): AI Diffusion model generates entirely new dance motions in real-time
Suggests cinematic camera cuts and outputs a sequencer-ready performance—entirely inside Unreal Editor.

K-Pop / EDM / Hip-hop dance performances
Dance scenes with your own characters (UE5 Mannequin, AI-generated)
Director-ready sequences that drop directly into Unreal Sequencer
Workflow:
UDE includes built-in characters (ACTOR_M for M3, M4_ACTOR for M4). Import your own character and use Auto Retargeting as needed.
1. M3 (Motion Library)
Set your audio (WAV format)
Run automatic music analysis (BPM, sections, signature)
(Optional) Manual Beat Settings for songs with unclear structure
Generate choreography from MVNT-m3 motion library
(Optional) Replace motions: Select block → Choose candidate from Auto Suggestion
(Optional) Auto Retarget to your own character (Mixamo, UE5 Mannequin, etc.)
Bake Sequence → Apply Auto Camera
2. M4 (AI Generation)
Set your audio (WAV format)
Configure Audio Trim, Gender, and Seed
Generate → AI creates new motion on server (3-5 min)
Motion auto-placed in sequencer
(Optional) Auto Retarget to your own character
Change Seed for different variations → Apply Auto Camera

M3: MVNT motion library with style filters (Charisma/Wild, Lovely, Sexy, Cool)
M4: AI-generated dance motions with Seed control
Motion Replacement (M3): Select block → Choose candidate from Auto Suggestion → Done

This plugin requires the following built-in Unreal Engine plugins. These will be automatically enabled when you install Unreal Dance Editor:

All of these are standard Unreal Engine plugins included with the engine. No additional downloads are required.
